Sandia’s New Mexico site has a confirmed COVID-19 case. In order to protect the health of the workforce, Suite 1023 in Bldg. 700 is closed and being assessed for cleaning and disinfecting. Members of the workforce should avoid the area until further notice.
Sandia, in coordination with state and federal health officials, is working with the employee to retrace their steps to identify other locations they have visited. All employees with confirmed contact with the individual who tested positive will be contacted by the Sandia Medical Clinic for further instructions within 24 hours. If you have not received a message from Medical within 24 hours of vacating the area, you are cleared to return to your workplace when reopened.
Employees who have concerns about their health and safety should notify their managers and work with the management team to determine appropriate reporting and time-charging.
